Hello!
My name is Quinten. I'm a Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD) student at The Hague University of Applied Science.
This is my portfolio for the course Human Technologies, also known as Human Computer Interaction (HT/HCI). This is the second time I'm taking this course, so I already have some idea of what the coming weeks are going to be like. HCI is a lot of work but compared to other courses at CMD it gives students a lot more freedom to express themselves and the chance to explore interesting topics in-depth, which I think is great.
As for what I'm looking to learn in the coming weeks, I'm mainly interested in the lab weeks. These are the last two weeks of the course, where everyone will be working in groups together on an installation. The lab weeks have a heavy focus on working closely with a team, which is what I'm especially excited about. This past year I've mostly been working on courses on my own and I'm eager to collaborate with other students again, especially after the COVID situation has calmed down a bit.
